Callouts now offer around 75 different template collections and well over 800 different templates for Camtasia, so needless to say, there is a lot to choose from. To make this a little bit easier, it’s always fun to see what other users have picked up.
Every year we try to look at the most downloaded collections, to see what’s popular.
We’ve just assembled a list of the most popular creative assets on Callouts from last year. And today I am happy to present our Camtasia Top 11 List. The eleven most popular Camtasia collections from last year.
I was going to make this a top ten list, but to be fair, two collections, on the 10th spot, got the exact same number of downloads, so top 11 it is.
I also made a quick video showcasing our top list. And you can see each of the templates listed below.

Before I reveal our most popular collections, I also wanted to highlight a couple of additional templates, worth mentioning. First out is our LUTs collections.
These weren’t available long enough to earn a top ten spot, but they still got an incredible number of downloads in just a few months. Launched as two different collections these include 25 different LUTs that can be used in Camtasia but also work in most other video editing software, for example, Premiere, and in other Photo apps, for example, Photoshop.

SUPER LONG-TERM TOP POSITION: DOODLE ARROWS
Our animated arrows collection is also worth mentioning. It was a while ago since we launched this one, but it’s proven to be very popular over several years.
And we’re not surprised. If you want to showcase an area of your screencast, do it with some animated arrows ?
TOP 10.1: CAMTASIA YOUTUBE ASSETS
Two collections shared the top ten position. The first one out is the Youtube-themed collection.
If you’re posting your videos on Youtube, then this is a great resource for your arsenal. Many different animated Youtube Like, Subscribe, and Ring the bell animations are included. I personally use these all the time.
TOP 10.2: CAMTASIA PHOTO SLIDESHOW
The second number ten is our famous Photo Slideshow collection. This collection has always been very popular and we’re currently looking to make a new version.
TOP 9: CAMTASIA LOGO INTRO REVEAL
In this collection, you find ten exciting animated logo revealers, perfect for showcasing your brand and logo, use as intros and outros to your videos.
TOP 8: CAMTASIA INTERACTIVE PRESENTATION, 3D GUYS
I’m very proud of this one. It was an intense labour of love combining and animating 3D resources and Camtasia.
In this collection, you find eleven carefully crafted templates featuring 3D characters in different situations. The character interacts within the template in various ways, for example watching a video, writing on the screen, holding up notes, and more.
TOP 7: CAMTASIA STROKED HEADLINES
Text strokes, our outlines is a sorely missed functionally of Camtasia. We took care of it with the collection, including 28 different stroke headline templates.
All templates are animated and easy to edit directly in the quick properties, so no need to go into the groups, unless you are going to do advanced changes.
TOP 6: SWEET MUSTARD – CLEAN BUSINESS PRESENTATION
12 different business-themed presentation templates in a simple and clean style.
The slides were made to quickly and easily put together consistent-looking company presentation videos and tutorial videos. Template slides such as Welcome, About Us, Social Media Connect, Bullets, Headlines, and Lower Third templates have been included.
These templates have been inspired by modern, flat presentations.

A personal favorite of mine. Highly useful for short presentations, when you just want to pack a punch.
Stomp videos is a popular modern video style where the music plays the central part and video transitions and texts are following the beat of the music.
This collection includes 18 different Stomper-themed text and image animations. Easy to drag-and-drop. Everything is editable. Just drag your videos and images in and edit the texts. Quick Properties has been set up so you quickly can create your own stomper video.
MOST POULAR CAMTASIA TEMPLATE COLLECTION: MODERN TRANSITIONS VOLUME 2
And drumroll, please… Our most popular template collection from last year is Modern Transitions volume 2. This collection includes no less than 18 modern stylish drag-and-drop transition templates. My guess is that it’s the toon-styled explosions included in this collection that has attracted most of the attention.
